A unique opportunity for portrait photographers in Hong Kong!

Whether you are thinking of branching out into the new trend of Boudoir, or simply learn some new ways of taking sexy yet classy photos of women, this workshop is for you!

The reason I am holding this workshop because over the last year, all my clients where so happy to find a woman photographer to work with on their boudoir pictures and I really want to share all I know so other women photographers can pick this style up and offer a safe and fun experience for the ladies of Hong Kong. I promise lots of sharing and no holding back! Come prepared with all your questions

In addition, our sponsor suppliers will also be giving our some rebate coupons to help you start your product collection at a very good price, and you will get to meet the fabulous make-up artists we work with on a regular basis.

Finally, the 6 photographers from the workshop will be the ones we refer any booking requests to as we are closing our studio. There will be post and a reference to them on our Facebook page (with currently nearly 2K followers) and on our website (average of 120 views per day).

Workshop

We will cover the business and photography aspects of Boudoir with a hands-on demonstration and one-on-one shooting with our models on three different sets in the Rouge studio to kick start a killer portfolio! And we will also cover organizational, business and sales aspects including one on one Q&A sessions with Dee from Rouge.

At the end day, you will have gathered enough information and gained enough hands on experience to start implementing steps for your own Boudoir business.

Where: Rouge Studio in Discovery Bay
Time: 10 am – 5 pm
Price: 7’500 HKD / person (excluding transport, meals and accommodation)
Max participants: 3
Course level: this is an intermediate course tailored to photographers starting out in the boudoir business.
An optional “basics” breakfast course can be booked for those who are not yet familiar with shooting in manual mode.
Equipment needed: Digital SLR with a lens opening at 2.8 or lower.
Recommended are 24-70 and 50mm lenses. A laptop with image processing capacities is recommended if you want to download and treat your images on site.

During the past year men have been asking, “What about us?”

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of working with beautiful Ingrid. It’s really inspiring to meet a woman who is so comfortable with where she is in her life. The day flew by as we laughed and talked (and had bubbles).

Ingrid kindly offered to share her experience with us and this is what she had to say about Rouge.

This year, I’m 40 years old and I really feel well and beautiful.

To celebrate such a unique and fantastic event, I absolutely wanted nice pictures of me because as I’m the family photographer, it is hard to find a single photo of me at the end of the year to send our wishes!

I knew Dee as a professional photographer and loved her work, so I decided to book a session. I only expected a super book at the end of the experience, but she transformed the experience into a gymnanistico-glamourous moment, making my photoshoot a really fun day.
